Repainting "The Office"

American television can't seem to bring itself out from under the skirt of Reality TV. When one new sitcom debuts, there's two or three more reality series ready to crack the 10 top. Instead of brainstorming and bringing in new talent, American network execs continue to borrow from the British, as evident with the March 24th debut of "The Office." The acclaimed British version hopes to make an Americanized splash stateside, but many are weary of it's potential success. Remember what happened when we translated the U.K.'s version of "Coupling?" The "Office" looks like it could be a hit with all those that deal with the idiosyncrasies of corporate America. We'll wait around the water cooler and see who's talking.
