Now this is what Lollapalooza should look like. We all remember when the music festival that catered to the alternative crowd began to lose it's appeal way before big arena bands like Metallica took over and headlined one of it's later and less popular tours. That marked the official end of Perry Ferrell's brain-child and cleared the way for similar music fests like The Horde and Warped Tours. Looking at the current list of acts (Pixies, Death Cab for Cutie, and Blue Merle) set to take stage for a revamp Lolla tour, it's exciting to see that music is front and center and not the corporate dollars that inevitably put the final nail in the coffin. Unfortunately, those outside of Chicago's Grant Park will have to wait and hope that the tour picks up and come to a town nearby.
