Normally I wouldn't weigh in on the matters of Linkin Park because, well -- they give me a headache. There is a very interesting situation perking up over at Warner Music. This entertainment giant is busy preparing their IPO when one of their most successful acts, the aforementioned Park, said they want to cut ties with Warner over the company's stripping the music group financially. Of late several artists from Kid Rock to Metallica have spoken out against Bronfman's recent dropping one record label after another. By the artist's accounting, Linkin Park has amounted to 10% of Warner Music's sales over the past 5 years.
