Corgan announced in a full page ad in Chicago newspapers that he is reforming the Smashing Pumpkins. He's quoted as saying "I want my band back, and my songs, and my dreams." He didn't say which, if any, of the former band members would be rejoining the group that disbanded five years ago nor when the Pumpkins would officially reform.
