As previously reported, the John Mayer Trio has assembled to explore John Mayer's bluesy roots. The details are now in. The other parts of the trio include Steve Jordan on drums and Pino Palladino on bass. The trio will debut their act on September 6th at the Fillmore in San Francisco playing an assortment of covers, new songs and existing Mayer tunes reworked for the trio format.
