The duo known as Turin Brakes are making their presence known with their third release Jack in a Box. Their Mercury Prize nominated 2001 effort The Optimist pinned the acoustic label on them, which they are looking to toss off. On the new album, they sample rock, alt-country and include a couple of those slower numbers. They will be embarking on a 16 date tour of the states starting in New York next month.
