For the first time in 14 years, the indie rock outfit the Pixies are heading to the studio to record a new album. Black Francis was quoted as saying "We have been discussing recording a new album lately. As happy as we are with the success of the reunion tour, we really want to make a record for the right reasons, whether it is successful commercially or not." He also has a solo release due out next week, the country flavored Honeycomb.
