Venus Williams notched her first Grand Slam victory since 2001 on Saturday winning on the grass courts at Wimbledon. The 14th seed was matched against the number 1 seed, Lindsey Davenport, in a rematch of the 2000 Wimbledon final. It was a hard fought match going 4-6, 7-6, 9-7 and marking the longest Wimbledon of the Open Era. Roddick and Federer meet tomorrow for a rematch of last year's mens final.
