Founder of the Christian Coalition and televangelist Pat Robertson is calling for the assassination of Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez, declaring him a "terrific danger" to the United States. He said on the 700 Club that it was our duty to stop him from making Venezuela a "launching pad for communist infiltration and Muslim extremism." Venezuela is the fifth largest exporter of oil and the US absorbs 59 percent of those exports. Robertson is the same guy that has been recently praying for God to take out another one of the Supreme Court justices so Bush can further push his conservative agenda. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think Jesus would advocate assassination or punching someone's ticket early to further a political agenda.
