While Pierce Brosnan getting his walking papers from the iconic role of James Bond shouldn't come as any surprise, the franchise's new writer may raise a few eyebrows. Oscar nominee Paul Haggis has been hired to take on the rewrite of the 21st 007 installment, Casino Royale. Haggis has drawn acclaim for his writing on films like Million Dollar Baby and this summer's sleeper hit Crash. So with a grade-A writer on board, does that mean we have to do without the cheesy Bond one-liners?
