In the wake of the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, three stars with firm roots in Louisiana (Harry Connick Jr., Winston Marsalis and Tim McGraw) will headline the one-hour commercial-free event on Friday called "A Concert for Hurricane Relief." In addition to music, several celebrity guests like Leonardo DiCaprio will be on hand to help raise funds to aid in this tragedy. Separately, MTV, VH1 and CMT plan to air events on September 10th for hurricane relief efforts. The tsunami relief concert in January raised more than $18 million for survivors.
