Researchers have discovered that the best financial traders could be certifiable psychopaths. These emotionally impaired individuals were more inclined to take higher stakes gambles and make better financial decisions over those well-adjusted members of society. The scientists found that emotion led some of the group to avoid risk even when the benefits outpaced the potential losses. Many company chief executive officers and corporate lawyers show the same trait. I can just see the list of perks offered: your own corner office, weekend villa in Conneticut and a spacious freezer locker for your corpse collection.
