Up until now, Lindsay Lohan has been better known for her solid work in forgettable teen movies. That is all about to change as Lohan declares her independence. This week she signed on to Bobby, a low-budget Emilio Estavez flick profiling the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy. Now she is said to have committed to Chapter 27, starring across from her newly rumored boyfriend Jared Leto. The film focuses on the murder of John Lennon. All this indie credibility may be for naught if she continues to bludgeon us with bad pop melodies on her sophomore album A Little More Personal coming December 6th. Bobby is slated to begin filming next week with Chapter 27 starting early next year.
