Network television's impatience seems to be hitting new lows every day. Emily's Reasons Why Not only got one episode out of the box before it was shut down by ABC. Now CBS chokes the highly promising Love Monkey at the 3rd episode. The much acclaimed dramedy has been shelved to make room for the Unit, an action drama featuring covert special ops. Ratings for Love Monkey proved disappointing for the network, averaging 8.1 million viewers. This was 6 million fewer than its time slot rival Law & Order: SVU.
