80s Television Lives Again in 'Dallas'

John Travolta and Jennifer Lopez have signed on for the big screen version of the 80s hit television show Dallas. JLo is slated as Sue Ellen and Travolta as the illustrious J.R. Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham) will take on directing duties. Chadha is also currently preparing to bring the 60s sitcom I Dream of Jeannie to the screen. Filming on Dallas is earmarked to begin in October with a release date set for late in 2007.
