In a recent interview with Kiefer Sutherland, it was revealed that 24 is preparing a leap to the big screen. Sutherland said, "The script is actually in development right now. It's something that we would shoot for doing next summer, during the next break." Much like the X-Files film, the television series will still continue to put Jack Bauer in mission impossible type situations. The film will just serve as an added adventure. Unlike the show, the film will crunch the normal 24 hour block into the standard 2 hour feature. Sutherland, who recently signed a deal making him the highest paid television actor, is gearing up for another secret agent adventure in the upcoming film The Sentinel co-starring Michael Douglas.
