Led Zeppelin to Tour Without Plant?

The most highly anticipated tour in decades is forming as we speak. Led Zeppelin used the vaulted reunion show at London’s O2 last year to announce plans for a full-out tour. One small catch. It won’t include Robert Plant. That is basically like making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without the bread. The utter ridiculousness of Page, Bonham & Jones seem undeterred, pressing on without the legendary front man. The band is currently auditioning singers rumored to include Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Alter Bridge’s Myles Kennedy. The remaining trio plan to tour supporting an album of new material. Regarding future touring with the band, Plant is quoted prior to the O2 show as saying, “The whole idea of being on a cavalcade of merciless repetition is not what it’s all about”. Keep an eye on Stubhub for upcoming Zeppelin tour dates.
